Oxy's Argentina operations are located in the San Jorge Basin approximately 1,100 miles south of Buenos Aires, and in the Cuyo and Neuquén basins in the western part of the country. The majority of these assets were obtained in 2006.
Oxy is pursing production growth through aggressive drilling, waterflooding and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects.
